Mimi Manyin is a writer, musician, and Gothic scholar based in Boston, MA. She writes literary fiction and speculative fiction. Her work has been published in Ploughshares, Witness, Michigan Quarterly Review, Meridian, Greensboro Review, and more. Her research interests include Gothic literature & film, posthuman/animal studies, and Veterinary Gothic. Mimi is an Editorial Board member of PRISM International and Guest Editor at The Masters Review. She also hosts Silent Reading Parties and Silent Writing Parties where she improvises in Classical and Contemporary styles on the piano to set the mood for reading and writing.
